At Best Books and Pens ‘HQ’, we have spent many years happily collecting and reading through an enormous selection of our favourite authors and titles.
Until we realised that either we would have to live in the shed at the bottom of the garden or start moving books out to allow for us to continue our hobby (or by now addiction) of continually exploring the written word.
The house was becoming full of shelves, cupboards and every available space groaning with books and magazines. This was before the event of the Kindle. One day we decided that to save becoming serious ‘hoarders’, we’d have to do something pretty quickly!
To this end we began to ‘rehome’ some of our least favourite books… such a tough choice! 
But the more we invested in new tomes to bring home, the easier it got to let the older books go… to ‘good homes’.
It got to the point where friends and family were asking if we had got ‘such and such’ a book that we could let them have. At that point we decided to make this a ‘going concern’ and Best Books and Pens was born!
We have had fifteen years of such fun using our hobby as ‘work’, met some amazing people and been to some incredible places.
Now we have decided to conquer the internet and bring Best Books and Pens straight to you!
We hope that you will find the books on our shelves as fascinating and inspiring as we do.
